Helidarshan is best known for its helicopter service. If you are looking for a comfortable Do Dham Yatra by helicopter to spend a memorable time at the holy temples of Badrinath and Kedarnath, Helidarshan is the right choice. We have some incredible packages for Do Dham Yatra by helicopter.
This spiritual Do Dham yatra by helicopter begins from Dehradun and visits both Dhams Kedarnath and Badrinath, covering all local sightseeing.
Our Do Dham helicopter booking services offer you a safe and VIP darshan at the temples. During the ride, you can enjoy the beautiful nature and snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan mountains. Kedarnath and Badrinath are holy places in India where people have infinite faith. Considering there is no direct bus or train service and the untrusted and uncertain road conditions, and countless hours of roadblocks during the Kedarnath and Badrinath yatras, it is better to continue the Do Dham yatra by helicopter.
To get more details about the package, offerings, and timings, submit your query, and one of our travel experts will contact you.
Visits to the two most well-known and revered shrines in India, Kedarnath Ji, and Badrinath Ji, are included in one of our most popular packages, the Tour of Do Dham.

1 . FIXED FLIGHT TIMES
This is a daily fixed-departure helicopter tour with fixed departure times for each location. As a result, throughout the trip, visitors must arrive at the helipads by the scheduled ETDs. Otherwise, they will be considered no-shows. However, Helidarshan has the right to postpone or delay flight schedules if weather conditions or other extenuating circumstances warrant it.
2. COVID TRAVEL GUIDELINES
According to the government’s current directive, passengers and Moksha Routes must abide by COVID protocols. If the government guidelines not been adhered to, passengers may be denied boarding without a refund.
3. THE WEIGHT LIMIT FOR HELICOPTERS:
The helicopter can support a maximum weight of 450 kg (excluding the weight of any luggage). Depending on the load and the temperature, passengers are accepted. Decisions made by the pilot are final. All passengers aboard must not exceed this restriction in terms of weight. As a result, passengers must specify their exact weight when making a reservation.
4. PASSENGER WEIGHTS:
When making a reservation, passengers must provide their accurate weights. The passenger or passengers will not be allowed in the aircraft, and the Heli Tour will be canceled without a refund if there is any weight variation from the submitted weights that would exceed our aircraft’s carrying capacity of 450 kg.
5. OVERWEIGHT CHARGES APPLY ONLY PER SEAT:
Excess charges apply at INR 1,500/kg. Passengers weighing over 75 kg will have to pay the amount. However, overweight is only calculated based on the total weight of all group members.
Moreover, any disparity in passenger weights discovered before boarding flights would be collected and charged according to the overweight criteria.
6. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
Each passenger is only permitted to check one bag that weighs up to 5 kg. No other luggage, including suitcases, is allowed in the helicopter. Due to our helicopters’ limited weight-carrying capacity, we reserve the right to switch passengers between helicopters to maintain the ideal weight for safe flying in the hills. As a result, it’s possible that two passengers traveling together won’t fit on the same helicopter flight.
7. SEATING CAPACITY:
Our helicopters can accommodate a maximum of six passengers and one crew member.
8. AN EXTRA DAY
For their comfort, if they become stranded at any destination due to inclement weather or other unavoidable circumstances, we strongly advise our passengers to keep an extra day on hand in Dehradun.
9. ADD-ON SERVICES:
The passengers must confirm any additional services, such as Maha Abhishek Puja, Rudra Abhishek Puja, or any other additional service, at the time of booking. Since we must make advance arrangements for the pujas, our staff in Dehradun collects payment for the pujas.
10. CLOTHING:
Passengers should bring heavy woollen clothing because temperatures can drop dramatically during the evenings and nights.
50% of the total cost must be paid as a deposit when making the reservation in advance. The balance payment is due 15 days before the arrival date in Dehradun. Passengers will not be permitted to board the aircraft or begin the tour unless full and final payment is received.
3. MAJOR DISCLAIM FOR BAD WEATHER AND FORCE :
Aside from bad weather, flying in the hills is also subject to a variety of force majeure events, such as delayed air traffic clearances or permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by the Indian Air Force (NOTAM), an unexpected technical issue with an aircraft, an ill pilot, or late passenger reporting at helipads, among others. In such cases, passengers must be ready to deal with some inconveniences and eventualities.
- If poor weather prevents visitors from boarding the first flight from Dehradun to Yamunotri, we will do our best to accommodate them the following day. We will cancel the trip if the weather does not permit it the next day, and a refund will be given, after deducting the cost of lodging, meals, and transportation in Dehradun, as well as INR 15,000 per person for flight planning fees within 15 days.
- We will try to fly the following day if the guests are stuck at one of the Dhams due to poor weather, but in that case, we might have to visit two Dhams or destinations in one day to make up for the time lost the previous day. For instance, if visitors become stuck at Gangotri and cannot travel to Kedarnath, we will visit both Kedarnath and Badrinath the following day, with the night stop being at Badrinath rather than Kedarnath. Depending on which Dham the visitors are stuck at, the same rule would apply to all of them.
4. NEW SCHEDULE :
You may change your reservation to any later or earlier travel date, pending availability, by paying 10% of the total tour cost. We can only schedule the dates if you notify us before the arrival date.
We will automatically cancel the booking if you inform us in less than seven days. A new booking will be given to you according to vacancy after the imposition of applicable cancellation charges.
5. SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY :
In Badrinath, connecting to the internet is difficult. BSNL and Jio are the two telecom services that operate in these areas, but not always. On the other hand, our staff will always be available to assist passengers.
6. UNREGISTERED PASSENGERS :
Helidarshan reserves the right to refuse service to anyone we deem unfit to fly, including passengers who are disruptive, violent, intoxicated, ill, or mentally ill. Such passengers will not receive a refund.
7. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS :
Bookings will be accepted assuming; the party has agreed to the terms and conditions stated above.
